NewsWelcome to the News blog, the author's chronicling of pertinent updates regarding the novel. 8/26/06Hi everyone, and welcome to childrenoffalin.com. This website, and this blog, is your source of upcoming information and news regarding my first novel, Children of Falin. The novel is currently in the final stages of editing. I have yet to begin the self publishing process (my choice for getting the novel out and into the world), but I hope to get everything rolling very soon. With this in mind, the book should be in paperback form and on store bookshelves in mid to late winter. Of course, I am very excited. All the major work on the text itself is done, and all I need to do now is squash any typos or unclear passages so that the novel is the best it can possibly be. That said, I cannot promise the release date of the book, since I don't want to put a time table on these final edits. I am working the best I can, however, and I want to hold the paperback myself as would anyone else who might want to read it already. So I will continue working, making sure that everything is order, and I will update again once the publishing process gets underway. In the meantime, I hope that anyone who is interested in the novel will enjoy the excerpts I put on the "Read Online" page, and that they will become as excited about the book as I already am.
