Children of Falin

Children of Falin - A Novel by Daniel Anderson

Children of Falin is a science-fiction novel chronicling the life of Tiana, a Warrior of the enigmatic Falinian race. Born into a caste-driven, theocratic society, Tiana is haunted by dreams and visions of the race's god, Mater Thea, who rules incarnate without question.

But Tiana's dreams tell her something is deeply wrong with Mater Thea's rule. Tiana is driven to the underground where she meets a secret cult among the oppressed worker caste who plot violent revolution against Thea. Meanwhile, Tiana struggles to understand her own place within Falinian society as a child of not just one but two castes—a rarity in her strictly segregated race. Alienated due to her multiple caste colors, Tiana realizes that some ancient force is guiding her life for an urgent task… and her dreams whisper that it is no less than the sister of Mater Thea herself, Mater Fali, the mother of all Falin.

Written by Daniel Anderson, Children of Falin is a story of sin, violence, redemption, and the quest for truth. It will be published in the winter of 2010.
